Jody Kennedy International
Siberia to Germany to Charlotte
October 3, 2010

The next weeks will find us traveling half-way around the globe  to Novosibirsk, Russia (Siberia), to Rehe, Germany and then to Charlotte, North Carolina.  This is a wonderful way to end 2010.  And, its a great way to celebrate 10 years of full-time missions.  Reflecting on these 10 years and the  years of volunteer service before that, we are truly grateful to God for the the life he has given us.

When Trisha and I began this ministry, our goal was to continue until God calls us home or our bodies simply wear out.  While it is tempting to think about slowing down, taking it easy and letting the next generation worry about Kingdom work Trisha and I are as focused and determined as ever to meet the goals we set 10 years ago.

As God is faithful, the next 10 years will be as rewarding and effective as the past 10.  We are trusting the Lord to send us more help in the form of volunteers, more resources in the form of money and more wisdom and strength in the form of the Holy Spirit.

Won't you pray for us right now?  Will you consider how you can help us during 2011 by going, giving, sending and praying?

Thank you for 10 years and thanking Him in advance for the next 10.

2011 Exciting Yet Daunting Schedule

We have begun our 11th year of full-time mission work and it appears that 2011 will bring more opportunities than in any year of the past.  Led to expand our work in Nicaragua, we have added several new church partners in that country for 2011.  These new partnerships will take our teams into the cities and towns far from the capital city of Managua.

In addition to our most popular event, Practically Speaking English, 2011 will see one or two medical/dental events focused on evangelism and connecting those who attend the clinic to a local body of believers.

Each of you that goes with us represents 50 - 60 lost people that will hear the gospel.
One = Sixty

Our relationship with two of the largest universities will expand to several events (not yet on our schedule) that will give us access to the university aged population that is not being effectively reached with the gospel of Christ.

During the weeks since our last international mission, God has put several new U.S. church partners in our path.  Churches in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Georgia are ready to help us to stir the hearts of their people for missions with us for the cause of Christ.

January 2011 - Join Us at Libertad Baptist Church in Managua

After our very successful Practically Speaking English event at the University of Managua in July, our great partner church, Libertad Baptist, took on the responsibility of coordinating the follow-up for our students.  This church has a fervor for evangelism that is inspiring.

We want to take a team once again to Libertad, one of our favorite venues, in January 2011.  To do that we need volunteers to be teachers, assistant teachers, children's workers and puppeteers.
